New funding for charging infrastructure in multi-family buildings

The Federal Ministry of Transport is supporting the expansion of charging infrastructure in and around multi-family buildings with a new funding program. Funding applications can be submitted from April 15, 2026. ecodata offers the right solution for implementing charging infrastructure economically and intelligently.
What is funded?
Funding is available for:
- private charging points, such as wallboxes
- suitable technical equipment
- grid connection
- necessary construction measures
- preparatory pre-wiring of parking spaces
Who can apply?
The funding program is divided into three funding calls:
- homeowners’ associations
- small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as private owners of residential property for rental purposes
- housing associations and real estate companies with larger residential property portfolios
Funding amount per parking space
- up to €1,300 without an installed wallbox
- up to €1,500 with a wallbox
- up to €2,000 with a charging point for bidirectional charging
