New battery functions completed

Commercial large-scale battery storage systems are becoming increasingly attractive.

With the new battery functions, SmartDog offers expanded options for external control, data readout, and grid-compliant operation.

New functions

Specification of power and other parameters via Modbus TCP for trading, grey power, or balancing energy
- primary control: P
- secondary control: S
- tertiary control: T
Information from the battery system can now be read via Modbus TCP by external trading systems, direct marketers, or aggregators.
Higher-level control for grid operators via telecontrol technology is also possible.
PV system and battery system can be controlled separately by the direct marketer.
It is also possible for the direct marketer to transmit an allowed power value at the grid connection point for both PV and battery. SmartDog then controls both systems intelligently.
